The Significance of Guru - Guru Poornima Special

 Date : 16 Jul 2009

  THOUGHT FOR CONTEMPLATION

Guru, the spiritual master is one who introduces his followers to their inner self and helps them to connect to it. He helps people to lead a perfect life and cautions them of likely deviation from the rightful path.'Gu' in Sanskrit means darkness and 'Ru' means the remover. Therefore Guru is one who helps in removing the darkness of ignorance by lighting the flame of knowledge. Guru helps us cut the cobweb of negativity and negative vibrations which we have ourselves woven under ignorance. Guru is one who holds our hands and takes us through the journey from death to eternity.

'Guru Gita' describes Guru as one who cuts the attachments of the disciple by the sword of mercy and bestows absolute Bliss.

You are lucky if you get a Guru in this life time, you are luckier if you are able to surrender at the feet of Guru and you are the luckiest if the Guru bestows his mercy on you. However you are unlucky if you cannot find the right Guru, you are unluckier if you have come across a Guru but could not recognize him and you are unluckiest if you could find the Guru but could not surrender at his feet.

Try not to miss an opportunity of recognizing a Guru and surrendering at his feet so as to make life meaningful and purposeful (Jeevan ko saarthak bana sakte hain).

  15. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

  16. Forgive everyone for everything.

  17. GOD heals everything.

  18. However good or bad a situation is, it will pass.

Vijayadashmi Special

Date : 21 Oct 2007

  THOUGHT FOR CONTEMPLATION
Vijaydashmi is the day of victory, representing the day of enlightenment when all vasanas are destroyed and the knowledge of the Self has dawned on the individual. The individual is said to have attained Self-Realization. The triumph of having moved from the ignorant state of JIVAHOOD (embodied soul) to the enlightened state of SHIVAHOOD (liberated soul). This day marks the triumph of spirit over matter, of victory of divine qualities over evil qualities, of the removal of ignorance by the light of wisdom and knowledge.- Shri Ramesh Jain
  EXPERIENCE SHARING
'Most of us celebrate festivals by following various rituals but without really understanding the significance of the festival and the message it is trying to give. You are right when you said that every festival or puja or ritual should be understood from its knowledge aspect and then connect our emotions while performing it or celebrating it. I tried and found that it's working wonderfully well. Thanks for giving a new direction of celebration.
  Question and Answers
Q:What is the significance of rituals such as pooja, homa, aarti, yagna, fasting etc. during religious festivals?A: Rituals are designed to help invoke the power of our emotions during various festivals as on those particular days (days of festivals), the whole universe is in a particular format and our rishis and munis have devised rituals so as to format our emotions and synchronize them with the format of the universe. If one is able to emanate required emotions with required intensity then one need not really follow any rituals.

Ways to suffer in Life, Almost Guaranteed

Do you want to enjoy and be happy in life? If so, then you better stop doing wrong things and become aware of these 10 ways to suffer in life.

Avoid these and you'll automatically be on the right track (provided you genuinely want to be happy)...

1. Mixing With negative people:

It's a guaranteed way to fail in life with this. Whatever you like to do, negative people will just tell you it won't work and after some time, you will also adopt negative approach.

2. Don't Know What You Want.

Most of the people are unaware as to what they want in life. If you ask them some will say they want money, some will say they want status and others may say they want jewellery, a big house, car etc. but most of these people are not happy even after they get what they wanted. The reason being that they themselves did not know they wanted happiness and not just money, house, care or jewellery.

3. You doubt your success.

When you doubt your own success then you are bound to fail because your doubts will signal the cosmic forces that you are not very serious about your success and hence giving you failure is the easiest reciprocation for the cosmic forces.

4. You always look to take revenge.

There are many people in this world who hurt you, belittle you, misbehave with you and getting hurt from their actions you always look for an opportunity to take revenge. The fact of life is that even before you can take revenge and settle your account with these people, they find newer opportunities to hurt you again. However much you try, you can never settle your account with these people but you continue to waste precious moments of your life in thinking about taking revenge. It is you who is always the loser and not the people who hurt you.

5. You think and imagine negative.

Thinking and imagining negative is like asking cosmic forces to create negative events in life such as accidents, losses, strained relationship, disease etc. which makes you suffer.

6. You live in the past.

You do not easily forget your past and not only keep remembering it but even compare your past with the present. This makes you miss the joy of the present. Also, remembering the past events will recreate those painful situations again and again thus making you suffer continuously too.

7. You have no control over how you speak.

Even though you may be good, caring, helpful and you always speak the truth yet you have no control over your tone. This makes you get misunderstood by most of the people and not liked by them.

8. You do not accept things easily.

There is no rule that every time you will get things as you want or things will happen the way you want them to happen or people behave with you as you behave with them. Not accepting this fact, you continue to struggle to get things exactly the way you wanted them even though most of the times what you got was close to what you wanted.

9. Your mind gets easily poisoned.

When anybody talks negative/ill about you or your near and dear ones, your mind gets easily poisoned as you have no confidence in yourself and in them. This makes you depressed and disappointed and strains your relationship with others.

10. You possess an I am right' attitude.

Irrespective of whether you are right or wrong you try to impose your decision, view point, perception on others. You do not budge even an inch towards agreeing to others and avoiding conflict. In fact you enjoy getting into an argument and force people to agree with you.

We are the creator of our own Destiny

Date : 26 July 2011

  THOUGHT FOR CONTEMPLATION

Human beings are bestowed with enormous powers within their inner self but due to the ignorance and negative nature of the mind their real personality remains subdued. They are not able to perform to the desired levels and achieve whatever they want to achieve in life.Normal human beings use, on an average, only 5% of their potential power whereas most successful persons in this world would have used only 10% of their potential powers. Only Yogis, Munis, Sidha Purusha etc are able to invoke more than 10% and they are called super natural powers. Even if one knows how to tap an extra 1% of his potential powers then that person achieves remarkable success in life and if one is able to invoke extra 2 to 3 % of these potential powers then the person would be recognized by the world as one of the achiever.

WE ARE OURSELVES IMPEDIMENTS IN OUR OWN SUCCESS BECAUSE WE ARE NOT AWARE OF THE:

VAST POTENTIAL POWERS WITHIN US
TECHNIQUE TO TAP COSMIC FORCES
TELEPATHIC INFLUENCE OF VIBRATIONS EMANATED BY HUMAN MIND
FORCES WORKING FOR AND AGAINST US
LAW OF ATTRACTION, LAW OF FOCUS AND POWER OF GRATITUDE
REPERCUSSIONS OF OUR NEGATIVE ATTITUDE, THOUGHTS AND IMAGINATION
TECHNIQUE TO INVOKE THE POWER OF VISUALIZATION WITHIN US
EMPOWERING SUB CONSCIOUS MIND THROUGH POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
TECHNIQUE TO NEUTRALIZE OTHER'S NEGATIVE VIBRATIONS (CURSES)
PAST LIFE KARMAS (Prarabdh Karma)
INVOKING INNER POWERS THROUGH KUNDALINI MEDITATION
SECRETS OF BIRTH, DEATH AND REBIRTH

Not knowing about these powers within us, we allow them to remain in dormant state and die with our death.
Through the knowledge of science of Cause and Effect (Karma theory), Repercussions of our own negativity (Doubts, Worries, Fear etc) and other's negative vibrations, Law of Attraction, Law of Success, Power of Positive Visualization and Affirmations, Alpha level Relaxation and Kundalini Meditation etc. we can create a life which we want. We can create only those situations and circumstances which give us success and happiness. We can rewrite our own destiny the way we want it to be i.e. Peace, Power, Prosperity, Harmony, God realization and Enlightenment (Self Realization).

We create our destiny, control of thought

 Date : 24 Mar 2008

  THOUGHT FOR CONTEMPLATION
WHO IS THE ARCHITECT OF OUR DESTINY?
The power of mind over matter is the creative power of thought. The world is a manifestation of our inner state. The situations we come across, the people we meet, the problems we confront and the various life experiences are all projections of what lie within us. We create our reality. Perceived reality eventually becomes manifested reality. We are the architects of our destiny. Plan your own destiny through a well directed and positively focused mind.- Shri Ramesh Jain

  EXPERIANCE SHARING
'Am glad that I attended your course for it made me aware of the thought pattern I was adopting which was detrimental to my joy. I am much happier since then and would always recommend your program to all who want to overcome their negative approach to life.LIVE WELL, LAUGH OFTEN, LOVE MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

- Manaz

  Question and Answers
Q:How to control unnecessary thoughts and increase the creative power of thoughts? A: The best way to control, reduce negativity and increase the creative power of thought is through MEDITATION. Practice meditation regularly, forgive and seek forgiveness from all beings in the creation during meditation, replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts and start emanating positive thoughts towards everybody in the creation including towards people with whom you are not in best of terms. Your positive emotions will empower your thoughts.

THE JOY OF SEEING OTHERS JOY IS A BIGGER JOY THAN OUR OWN JOY

What are you - Fertile Soil or Barren Land?

Date : 15 Nov 2009

  THOUGHT FOR CONTEMPLATION

A seed sown in fertile soil grows into a tree and the same seed sown in barren land does not sprout at all. The difference is in the quality of soil and not in the seed. Fertile soil is soft and loose thereby helping the seed to sprout whereas barren land is hard and rocky thus not allowing the seed to germinate. In the same way the seed of happiness is sown equally in everybody yet it sprouts only in some people and not in all. Flexible, adjustable and open minded person is like fertile land where happiness sprouts easily but a person with rock solid hardened 'EGO' does not allow this inner seed of happiness to sprout thus suffering the pains and sorrows of life. However even as the barren land has the potential to be converted into fertile soil human beings have the potential to loosen their hardened EGO and convert barren mind into fertile heart allowing the seed of happiness to sprout. Learn to compromise, adjust, accept, praise and then experience for yourself the beauty of the seed of happiness germinating into sapling and eventually into a big tree. As tree provides shade and cool breeze to passers-by, a person experiencing inner happiness gives peace and happiness to all those who comes into contact with him.

-Ramesh Jain

  Question and Answers

Q:Even though I want to be happy yet people around me disturb me often. How can I make them change their attitude?A: It is not only difficult to change others but it is also foolish to expect others to change. If we want to be happy then we must change ourselves. Once we change, then automatically the whole world changes for us. It is our perception that matters for our happiness. Changing ourselves is easier than changing others.
